FEES AND INSURANCE |
|
I accept insurance, and am on some preferred provider lists.
You must contact your insurance program to find out if, and how much,
they will cover for my services. Most managed care insurance plans
set the fees they pay psychologist providers, and will tell you how
much of a co-pay you must pay me yourself. |
|
If instead, you have an indemnity insurance plan, meaning your
insurance pays a percentage of my fees, my regular fee for services
is $110 per counseling or psychotherapy session. These sessions last
45 to 50 minutes. |
|
For people who do not have insurance, or who value the advantages
of not using medical insurance for psychotherapy, and choose to pay
me on their own I charge $90 per session. |
|
For legal psychology work, such as custody evaluations, mediation,
reports to a court, and expert witness testimony, I charge $125 per
hour. This type of work is payable in advance When you call I will
discuss with you how this is done. |
